1) 4 Stock sized Zinc Coated Brembo dimple or cross-drilled and slotted rotors: Dimple or cross drilling increases the surface area of the rotor to promote cooling. The rotors are The rotor are also Zinc coated for aesthetic appearance and to prevent rusting on the hat and edges. (a rusted rotor will ruin the look of a nice rim and tire combo)

2) 2 Sets of PBR Metal Matrix Pads(Front and Rear):
These are the same semi metallic pads the $tillen repackages and puts their name on to sell. They create 30% less dust than stock pads.

3) Set of Steel braided lines (Front and Rear)
Made by Technafit, Steel braided lines help eliminate brake hose expansion, due to boiling fluid, which leads to a "mushy" brake pedal and eventually braid fade due to the loss in fluid pressure to the caliper. These replace and will not expand like the stock rubber brake hoses.

4) Racing Brake fluid.
The Super Blue Racing brake fluid is designed to have a higher boiling point. When conventional fluid boils, the heat causes the brake lines to expand. Bottle contain more than enough for proper bleeding of the brake system once installed.

ijon03, you need to be more specific. what width? if it's 18x10 +42 then the rims will probably clear the calipers, but if it's 15x6.5 +42, I can almost be sure that it WON'T clear.
It also depends a lot on the design of the rim's spokes. Even low offset rims (+5 or so) may not fit Z calipers if their spokes aren't designed to clear bigger brakes.
Before you ask such sweeping (and unspecific) questions, may I suggest you use the SEARCH function.

The 300zx calipers are the only calipers I sell with the kit. It is a 4 piston caliper as opposed to the 2 piston stock 240 caliper.

These are factory OEM Nissan 300zx calipers. They are &nbsp;remanufactured calipers overhauled to new specs. Yes, you can order a set of Twin Turbo calipers directly from Nissan. i believe they go for around $800.00 for the set alone.

Actually, the stock 240sx front brakes (and rear) are a measly SINGLE PISTON!! &nbsp;<img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/butbut.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':but:'> &nbsp;... so altogether we have 4 brake pistons on the car. If you do a complete 300zx brake swap, you have a total of 12 brake pistons on the car!! (8 up front and 4 in the rear) ......

I got a quick question: does the full 300zx brake conversion (front and rear) come with a new e-brake line? &nbsp;The the rear 300zx calipers will not work with the stock 240sx e-brake line.
The 300z e-brake line will not work without modification because it is slightly short. (3 inches I believe)

Usually, most people will opt for just the front Z brake upgrade. I plan to do that myself. That alone, you will see a big difference in break feel and less fade. It is costly to do the rear upgrade. You will need the rear Z32 uprights and will need shocks from a Z32. Most of the braking happens in the front anyway so I would just get the front unless you got money laying around (BTW: it can be donated to me!) :D I did see a place where they were selling the whole upgrade, forgot where though. As for the hubs, you dont neccessarily need to change them. If you dont want to, just get the rotors re-drilled to a 4 bolt pattern. Or you can get 5 lug hub swap off a S14 SE.

I ordered the conversion for the rear (calipers, rotors, pads, fluid)& I'll install it as soon as I get it. (I already have steel lines). I won't have time to mess around with the e-brake cable until a few weeks after but the thought of shedding some pounds & tossing the e-brake hardware all together sounds good. I'll have to think about it.

The front conversion took me 2hrs w/ some help, the rear should be no harder. I'll post with impressions.

There is no waiting for others to join the buy. As soon as payment is received, it takes me a couple of days to drill and plate the rotors (as I custom drill each set to order) and then I ship by Airborne Express. Charles was awesome to order from - he delivered the rear conversion in 2 days time!!!

They are fully installed, no e-brake & it will take some time getting used to. Both sides are leak free & I had to secure the lines from rubbing against the wheels (9.5").

Pedal feel is super "squishy" w/ 300ZX brakes all around. After driving around some more, I'll determine if the 300ZX master cylinder is necessary.

They look & feel awesome, brake bias seems better or I could just be disillusioned with the new aggresive bite!

Alls the seals, rubber boots, etc (All parts on the caliper that can deteriorate or have wear) are replace with new parts to ensure proper operation. The process is done by authorized brake componet contractors and is rebuilt to OEM spec.

Charles, i have emailed you several times in the past week asking about my calipers, my name is sean evans and i bought the fully $800+ kit from you a few months ago. after brakes were installed a few weeks, it rained and now my calipers are completely BROWN, like rusted. just looking for a solution, a reply would be nice, thanks

Sean, I apologize if I have not replied sooner. I am unsure to why your calipers are turing brown. I have not had this experience before and have not hear of anything like this. I'll check to see if there was something different done to the newest batch of calipers I have recieved.

Calipers turning brown:
Rust (if they're iron)
Brake dust.
I don't think either of these are the fault of anyone except mother nature and/or heavily dusting pads. xp
Apply some brake cleaner to a cloth and wipe it off if it bothers you that much, but frankly, it's all to be expected.

--adey--no man, this isnt to be expected, these calipers are completely brown, like bright brown, ive tried every kind of cleaner and no luck.

--charles--just check on that for me if you dont mind, but i can take pictures if you like. you know when it rains or you wash your car and your rotors turn brown? thats what it looks like, it will show up on your finger when you wipe it, but no luck so far getting it off with any cleaner
