Just found these:

Mods, sorry for the ebay link. If it's not allowed please let me know - I'm not trying to promote or sell anything here.
Anyway, these look something like the S5 setup that Enjuku sells, but that's a hell of a price, and I'm curious whether anyone has any experience with this product. It's either a great deal or another "too good to be true" type thing.
TIA.

After buying Ichiba hubs, I'd really be slow to consider buying cheap aftermarket hubs again.
Peak Performance! I'm waiting for those to go back into stock.

Why not? Nothing wrong with press on hubs... How do you think Nissan put them on in the first place?

You're right about the ebay link and as far as the quality, I'd say if they have a warranty, do it. I wouldn't but hey that's just me. Remember, you get what you pay for. They're not THAT cheap though, you're looking at a price tag of $435 shipped not including taxes (for in-state buyers) for buy it now.

Actually, there's someone over on FreshAlloy who had a real problem with fitment on the Peak setup. He went to Ichiba or S5, can't remember which, and has had no problem since.
240falkon, what happened with your Ichibas?
The other option I'm considering is S5, simply because they come with the rear bearings already pressed on and I could just bolt everything up. I'm not too worried about long studs at this point, those could always be added later, and if I run R32 GTR wheels like I'm thinking I might, spacers wouldn't be needed.

The hubs are probably fine, but I wouldn't buy from that eBay idiot - he clearly has NO idea wtf he's selling.

I heard somewhere that its really bad to use the cheap hubs cause they aren't built like oem. Not 100% round or balanced correctly or something. heard someone that used them ended up destroying his brakes because of them. I dunno. I would rather use OEM. So that's what I did.

That happened because the guy used the wrong size thread pitch lug nuts on his RX7 not because his wheel hubs sucked.

I love how there is so much speculation in this thread and I heard this and that. IF you have proof of hubs not working post the proof! Don't say I heard on Fresh Alloy or I heard someone in my area had a problem.
I can personally attest to the problems of Ichiba Hubs. Scott aka 240Falkon is a friend and I saw his problems first hand. Plus I have a supplier that dropped Ichiba because so many hubs were coming back. He does not have that problem with the Peaks. Now these are first hand accounts told to me by the people that had the issues. Not a case of I read or heard.

Sorry I didn't cite my sources
If you look above, I asked 240falkon to be more specific, which he hasn't done yet. Read the FreshAlloy links and it seems that like many products, at least a few people have had issues with each brand, while others have been quite happy...

Look Dude! Don't tell me to relax. You don't know me. I was relaxed when I made that post. Now I am less relaxed because you had to cop an attitude. You even made a post which pretty much did what I said as well . You heard it on Fresh Alloy, the one thread you cited had a persons experience documented. You don't have the personal experience. Scott's issues were numerous as were others . Ichiba suck get over it.
P.S. you need to check yourself. I wrote what I wrote to clarify the thread. You managed to do that but not without coping an attitude.

You issued orders first. Don't tell me "Don't say I heard..." etc. Should I quote you back to yourself? "Don't tell me _whatever_, you don't know me." What does knowing you have to do with anything, really?
And while we're on the subject of posting what you've heard, or read, how the hell else do forums work? The only reason they're here is to post your experiences and to share them with others. You're basically saying that if I haven't had the experience myself, I shouldn't believe anything anyone else says about the product? That's the dumbest thing I've heard in a while.
Remember folks, go out and buy things without doing research.

Haha. I've seen MULTIPLE boxes of ichiba hubs that were crap.
Bearing's fell apart before they were even taken out the box.
Studs weren't even pressed in, not fit in properly.
This isn't like one or two boxes either.
I would rather rock 4 lug than ichiba.

Lol... Chill...its just the internet. Besides...he did "site his sources". Although you're prob. correct...Ichiba isn't hightest quality.
