I'd rather lose the Viper. Total a Viper worth 80k and insurance cuts you a check. Total a 40k Nissan and you're in for a long, expensive fight with insurance.

Been there, many lessons learned.

okay um in the beginning of the vid did anyone else notice the little noose hanging in the tree? and thats sucks, i would most def be crying. and the guy was sooo right about the insurance cutting you a check for a viper over a z.

He did not care of any other car but the 300zx that is pretty fishy.

Thing is Insurance won't give him shit for the Z and from the pics I have seen it had it pretty tricked out. He easily had at least 20k over the stock value invested and he will be fighting the Insurance company tooth and nail. Thats been half the problem with my own cars. Find me an Insurance company that will insure my car for what I could sell it for, not what they think its worth.

lotus europa = ~9300 made
lamborghini jarama = 327 made

and that's not factoring in the fact that lamborghini is already a more desirable collector make.

god, you guys have no grasp of sentimental value do you? i'm sure out of all the cars he had in that garage, he spent the most time and money (aftermarket wise) into the 300zx. the man had a dream and a vision for his car (like the rest of us who actually gives two shits about their vehicle) and it is easy to see why he cares so much for the Z. money can be replaced but you cannot replace the memories nor time invested.

Dude, even if I had a Lambo, I'd cry if I saw my Z burning and feeling helpless about it. Emotional attachment has a lot to do with what you value most.

as I am reading this it reminds me of my little brother.
he had a porsche 944 and he had just finished re vamping the whole fuel system and he called me and was sooo excited about how good it ran and how much more power it felt like it had, than he calls me two minutes later and is balling " My CAR IS DIEING!! ITS BURNING"
it burnt under the overpass at south coast plaza on bear st.

some dude at rubys just watched and wouldnt lend a fire extinguisher from inside. it was so bad, this video gave him a nightmare last night. lmao

If someone didn't give me a fire extinguisher, I would TAKE it, hit them in the face with it, and then throw them in the fire. Piece of siht motherfucking anal pirate.

Shit sucks, but I don't see how the 300zx has $20k in it unless I saw an old modsheet.
