My left signal gives me the "hyper blinker effect" but the right is normal... anyone else have this problem?

Check the bulbs, that usually happens when one of your bulbs dies.

isent there a relay that controls the "blinking". well any way if ther are 2 seperate ones, pull them and make sure they are the same. if they look the same, switch them(im not sure if you can but do it anyway) and if it now hyperblinks on the other side its the relay. replace hyperblinker to stock OR buy another hyperblinker to replace stock

You checked both lights on the left side with the blinker going? If one's not out (they blink rapidly because they split the current, thus sending extra current when one's out to the remaining bulb), check the relay.
