so me and my buddy we're going to replace the radiator on my 93 240... We got everything out and ready then took a look at the radiators and they were different! I bought the rad and was told is was OEM replacement. It has two extra spots for hoses at the bottom... Is there anything I can do? Am I fucked and if so...why doesn't my 240 has these hoses... damnit...I'm so upset.

You didn't buy the wrong Radiator. You're just inexperienced. It's ok. Zilvia is here for you.
You have a 5-speed equipped car. Yes?
Those two ports are for an automatic equipped car. That is the built in Tranny cooler.
Relax. It will still work just fine. The coolant and tranny fluid don't mix, so you don't have to worry about coolant leaking out of the holes. Just don't use them.

REALLY! oh wow..Thank you sir! I'm so relieved. :bigok: ... it is 5spd So just install it like I would and those holes won't effect it?!

Just dont hook them up, and you wont have any problems. I have the same radiator, and a 5spd. Just install it and you'll be all set.

Hey I had a question, since its used to cool the oil in the tranny can't you run an oil cooler type thing from the motor or is it different. I did my auto to 5 speed swap and was thinking of that the whole time I was doing it.

so, since I don't have any hoses to attach due to it being manual. Does that mean I have to block the holes with something? or will installing it as is with just the rubber caps be good enough? sorry, just wanting to clarify.

You do not have to block the holes just leave the rubber caps on and install it.

Negative
I think the pressure from the oil is too high for extended use?
Something like that. it's been discussed on the hondatech forums
