wanted to see if anyone has a picture of the buddy club spec 2 ground clearance.. i'm sure everyone knows the crappy clearance of most aftermarket exhausts past the cat and how low they hang to the ground. I was told this one sits tight against the body and if anyone has a picture it would greatly help..
i.e. i love my circuit sport but the mid section is way low and also the bend where it goes up towards the exhaust canister.. horrible if you ask me.. there is tone more room to move it up.. but i do not want to go chopping it up, would rather change it all together.. had the same problem with Apexi N1..
many tks!

The clearance is pretty good on the exhaust, if anything you will have more problems with the downpipe.
Search on here about cutting and welding the downpipe to tuck against the frame, that will fix you right up.

tks for info, i pretty much went through that entire thread before i posted and didnt find what i was looking for.. the closest one that came to it was Brian's S14, but it seems pretty low hanging and Kidynomite's S13 seems to have a clearance i'm looking for but only a rear shot picture..
the best would be side profile.. i almost didnt see anyone posting clearance from that angle.. i'll post pic of mine so you guy can get an idea of what i'm talking about..

John, tks for the info, the downpipe is custom and its clearance is pretty good, now i'm using a resonated cat eliminator that i believe is angles a bit down but thats no problem, i can eliminate that thing and put a straight pipe angled properly. Pics will be up in a few mins..

It stays very close to the chassis and there is plenty of clearance...
My downpipe has a couple nicks on the bottom of it but the exhaust has none...

nikeboy thank you for the contribution that looks excellent comparing to circuit sport.. here is my clearance.. sorry for the lack of lighting i had to adjust exposure on some pics so you'll be able to tell how far from the ground it is.. the downpipe in the picture is level with the frame rail (camera was only facing up so it seems like its lower)
as for rest of the pics.. i had the camera sitting on the floor and its a small cannon, so if i laid it flat on the ground on its screen it cant be thicket then 1.5" it would get stuck between the midpipe! i say crappy fitment.. btw i dont think the car is too low? definitely not lower then yours..

take it to a muffler shop.
Chop the downpipe.
Chop up those gross hangers, and push the exhaust up, then re-weld the hangers.

tks for the info, as for downpipe no chopping up there.. its already super close to the underbody.. as for that resonator (cat eliminator) that might be the first problem, definitely thinking of eliminating that crap.. the gap that circuit exhaust has is ridiculous! i'll give it a thumbs up on noise reduction and being quiet but fitment is crap!
I was thinking of not chopping up the exhaust and try make more clearance rather just sell it and get something else.. I can always tig a whole new system back nice and tight to some after market can but to save time and money if i can get away with $300 exhaust and 20mins install w/decent clearance i'd rather go that route..

no no no, just chop the brackets up, and reposition them.
that should do it.

It hangs pretty high, hugs the body, but I still scrape mine. It hangs lower in the center than most exhausts, I still scrape it, but only when going from an incline to level ground or vice versa.

Kidynomite, if you end up finding any pics i'd greatly apprecaite it.. it seems from the rear that it hugs very well and i'm sure the center isnt as low as mine, at least it doesnt look like that by looking and nikeboy's car..
i'm thinking of eliminating the resonator i have behind the DP, angle it up a notch then straight back once it connect to the new exhaust should be nice and tight?
As for circuit, i think it would definitely involve chopping up all the flanges and repositioning the whole thing and john suggested, possibly redoing some of the piping as well as i bet it will not line up the same (as it does not with the rear canister)

It stays very close to the chassis and there is plenty of clearance...
too close somtimes, mine rubs on the under metal picece on the rear bumper, most rear hanger metal bracket.
I wraped some header wrap with exaust tape to get rid of the vibration for now, But i will need to cut and re weld the hanger arm to really relieve this completley.
Possibly because I have Peak Boost DP system who knows.
