so i heard this chirping sound from my engine and me and a couple of friends went to proto motoring since we were nearby and i asked this one guy to check it out what he thought the noise and he says that i need a new timing chain what do you guys think???i heard sr20dets are known for their timing chain to fuck up.

If it was a ka, youd be able to remove the guides and replace/clean the tensioners for the chain. I dont know if SR's are the same way though. Google "sr20 timing chain rattle"

Almost every motor with chain guides can have them replaced. Come to think of it, I can't think of a motor that doesnt.
As for a "chirping" sound, it should be more of a "clacking sound"...
Pop your valve cover and crank the motor over a couple of times to see if it builds up slack

You can try just removing the upper timing chain guide. If its slapping that guide it means the chain is stretched a bit and you should either replace the chain (lots of work) or upgrade the tensioner to the newer style (if you don't have one already) that puts a bit more pressure on the chain to take up slack and has a larger opening for better oil flow.
