Mine used to squeak a little...like the first 4-5 times I used after a cold start.  I just sprayed a little WD40 on it and it hasn't squeaked since..and that was about 2 months ago.  Don't use it a lot of it though, it tends to drip.

yeah, try some wd-40.  Best solution would be to change the spring.  there was a topic on this awhile ago... try using the search function and you'll probably get more answers

Yeah...definitely try the search...There was a post about it awhile ago.  WD-40 wears out too fast though...Try greasing it with white lithium grease.  And make sure you grease all around the spring...especially on top of it...The vibration from the spring is what causes the squeak most of the time.

ok i'm having the same problem and it sounds like the squeaking noise is coming from the engine bay or underneath my car?......... is that the spring or is it something else? If it is the spring where is it located?

Get down underneath your dash on the floor and look up at the clutch linkage.  You'll see it...

Yeah, they know what they're talking about. Stick your head down there and look at the linkage and joints and what not. Lithium grease is also some very high quality stuff. Good luck!
