I have a blacktop long block i need to get rid of.
i was saving it for a project s13 or maybe a 510, but i dont have anywhere to keep it anymore.
its a blacktop, but has a redtop valve cover on it. - i sold the blacktop valve cover to a friend.
the motor ran fine when it was pulled over a year ago, it has been sitting ever since.
a leakdown was recently done, and one of the valves is leaking, im assuming its one of the lifters. probably because the motor has been sititng for a while, if so, all you have to do is bleed them and youre good.
has most accessories still on it, as well as most of the lower harness.
looking for $675 picked up in LA

thats my guess, but it could be something like carbon buildup or something.
Yeah still has egr, its bone stock, never modified, and ran in the car before it was taken out to be shipped to the US.
rb25jun: The motor is in my garage in Hollywood, ca, its not very far from pasadena, i would meet half way, but i dont have any way to transport it.

how do you ship a motor?
take it to a UPS STORE. they have freight service usually (i know my friend does). basically they build a custom crate/pallet for it and ship it for you. it can get pricey but if the buyer is willing to pay.........

i think $675 is fair.
its been kind of hard for me to coordinate with some people and i appoligize,
but i will be around all weekend in Hollywood where the motor is.
first $675 gets it

sorry man, but i really dont have the means to ship it, no truck, no pallet etc. even if i did, im guessing it would be around 300-400 just to ship it anyways, sorry
