Its not the people with fully built up cars , its those ****ing stupid ass wanabe ricers with the APC parts bull**** on their cars that have just gotten thier drivers Lic and mostly Ethinic inner city garbage is the main cause but this one caught me off gaurd today, only thing I knew somethng was wrong when I noted 5 Hellcopters floating in the air above me today, didnt see what happend untill the news at 4pm today.

the impact was so great the rear of the car was in the front of the car and a 3month old Infant was air lifted to child hosipital.

Mom, 2 Young Kids Injured in Street Racing Crash2 Children Flown to Hospitals for Treatment

RESEDA, Oct. 9, 2007 (KABC-TV) - A mother and her two young children were critically injured in a street racing crash on Sherman Way in Reseda.


A three-month-old infant was flown by air ambulance to Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. A five-year-old child was flown to UCLA Medical Center.

So far the LAPD has taken one person into custody.

Mother, Two Kids Killed in Fiery Street Racing CrashDriver of Second Vehicle Fled the Scene

EL MONTE, Oct. 9, 2007 (KABC-TV) - Street racers are blamed for a deadly accident in El Monte.


Police have one of the alleged street racers in custody, but the other driver is still at large.

The violent collision happened at the corner of Parkway Drive and Elliot Avenue in El Monte.

One man is in custody charged with three counts of murder, he is identified as 19-year-old Robert Canizalez. He's being held on $3 million bail. He will be arraigned on Thursday.

Police say he and another man were street racing down a residential street in El Monte when he slammed into cross traffic after blowing through a four-way stop.

Forty-one year Dora Groce and her two children, eight-year-old Robert and four-year-old Katherine, were killed in that car fire. Katherine apparently had a fever Monday night and the family was on its way to their family doctor at Kaiser.

Police say the impact threw the Nissan Altima 50 feet before the vehicle ignited. Officials say it was most likely the fire and not the collision that killed the mother and her two children.

Detectives say it was a traumatic scene as neighbors rushed to help the trapped family inside, but the heat from the flames was too intense.

"Words cannot describe the loss I suffer. I hope justice is served when the people responsible show up in court," says Felicita Limos, a neighbor.

The driver of the Mustang involved is now charged with three counts of murder. The man police say Canizalez was racing is 21-year-old Martin Morones. He is on the run. He was racing in a Honda Accord. He apparently hit a parked truck following the major collision. Morones then fled the scene on foot.

"He is at large and we are looking for him. He is facing one count felony hit and run and three counts of murder," says Det. Ralph Batres, of El Monte Police Department.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the El Monte Police Department at (626) 580-2177.

A month before that, my mom saw two civics racing each other on streets around me and some kid almost ate a pole when his brakes locked up and smoke covered half the street.

yes, and the driver attempeted to pass and was trying to overtake from the #2 into the #3 lane when he struck the parked car where the mother and her childern were standing between the parked car,

for any of you who dont know about this area, San Fernando valley area is a grid area with very long straight away streets, people just feel the need to speed in the area, speed limit in most parts of the main thru fairs are about 35-45 and the area the incident took place speed limit is 35mph, the driver of the maxima was travling about 80+mph and the impacted the parked cars.


this is the case from what the media says is Road roage case that went too far, I mean to loose your family over a case a road rage is by all means horribile thing I would never want to wish this on :(.

LOS ANGELES-Two men were charged with murder Thursday for a road-rage
crash that killed a 5-year-old boy and critically injured the child's
mother and his infant sister, authorities said.

Brian Barnes, 44, and Armando Gamboa Ayon, 19, both of Los Angeles, each
face one count of murder, vehicular manslaughter and three counts of
reckless driving causing specified injury. Barnes also was charged with
three counts of leaving the scene of an accident.

Both men were booked on more than $1 million bail. Both men appeared in
court Thursday but their arraignment was delayed until Oct. 17.

"We're going to throw the book at them and enforce the law, because what
happened to that family was unacceptable," Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa
said at a news conference.

Police said the two men were driving their cars Tuesday in the San
Fernando Valley when they got into an argument. The vehicles weaved
along city streets between speeds of 50 mph to 90 mph, "cutting each
other off" and jockeying for position, said Detective Bill Butos said.

Police said one the drivers was tapping on his brakes, trying to get the
other motorist to ran into his vehicle.

Barnes eventually slammed on his brakes and Ayon tried to avoid the
vehicle and plowed into the back of a parked car, Officer Jason Lee
said. The parked car slammed into another vehicle, crushing the boy,
Ayman Arif, his sister, Ikra Arif, and his 31-year-old mother Syeda
Arif.
