well even though i am a huge fan of ka-t and would rather have one to an sr i am gonna buy myself  a junk s13 coupe and do a silvia conversion.  im pretty sure im gonna be able to afford it and its gonna be a lot cheaper than my original plan...s14 ka-t.  maybe later on when i get more mula ill go back to an s14 but for not im pretty sure its an s13 swap for me.  i just wanted to see how satisfied you guys are w/ your swaps and how reliable everything is.  for the most part my engine will be stock.  maybe a front mount intercooler 3in piping exhaust down pipe intake w/ a bov and a boost controller will be employed...  i also wanted to know the ease of installation.  id be buying a front clip.  i have limited tools...like i wont have an engine harness thingy too move around the engines and stuff.... well just let me know about your sr swap and common problems and stuff.  thanks

i too am VERY happy with mine, i swapped it and sent the harness to HT, it was cake but waiting for parts really slowed me down. also i dont think I could have done it without the cherry picker. that was the most important tool. I used it to take out my old motor, take the sr out of the clip, put the sr in and to get the clip off the truck. if your doin a drivway or garage swap i would say that you must have one. Their are a few small pains in the ass but it can be done pretty easy.

i love mine so much. BUT my tranny is shot!!! the engine is fine but the tranny is bad. well for me it is. its a pretty easy swap just need a cherry picker and a basic sockets. an impact gun is a plus. it will be a peice of cake if you send the harness to HT or something. i learnd the hard way

oh yeah havent timed my car yet but im thinking mid 14 to mid 13
