Worst seller ever. Paid $160 for a cometic HG, ARP head studs and intake manifold gasket.

Seller NEVER CLAIMED OR STATED the items were used. Who in their right mind would buy a used headgasket or head studs???

NO communication, took over a week to ship the items.

When i received the items, they were used. I filed a dispute with paypal and lost the case because if you do a transaction outside of ebay, the seller can basically ship you an empty box and you're screwed.

BAD SELLER, SCAMMER, DO NOT DO BUSINESS!

i almost bought those studs, but backed out. when i first saw them for sale, he HAD mentioned that they were torqued. he may have edited it after i saw it and before you did, but at one point, it was disclosed that they were used.

When i read the thread everything was taken down, i NEVER saw that it said installed or torqued as he claimed. Nor did he tell me when i sent him the money and he didn't reply for a week....WORST transaction ever. This guy is pathetic.

Ha. Whatever. Like was said in the 2nd post it was disclosed that they were installed. On top of that, like i told you, every other buyer asked questions about the parts they were buying and i disclosed everything to anyone that asked, and i have not had 1 complaint. I provided all info and pictures to anyone who asked for them. Its not my fault you didnt do your homework before you sent money for the parts. Like was said, it was disclosed in the post and you didnt bother to ask any question, thats not my fault. Caveat emptor.

on top of that you took this straight to paypal for a full refund w/o even telling me you werent happy w/ the parts. I had to find out by logging into my account one day and saw a negative balance on my account because of the dispute. You took it all the way through paypal and they turned you down. I was out my paypal account for a month because of this and I'm still trying to get it straightened out. Forgive me if i dont feel sympathetic.

So people are supposed to ask if a head gasket is used? Generally items like that are a one time use only, even though a metal head gasket can be reused it's not something a person with common sense would want to buy. The buyer may not have asked if it was used because he assumed it wasn't, but you could just as easily have noted in the ad that it was used and avoided any problems. You wouldn't sell a fender if it was scratched and dented all to hell without noting it, this is no different.

Munkee was a very good seller when i bought parts from him on ka-t.org
Took him a while to ship because his girl had just had a baby but other then that everything came in well timed mannered. Also on his for sale thread on ka-t.org he still has it on their that the HG was installed and torqued to spec, but nothing on the arp studs. Not trying to take sides but just saying that i was satisfied with the parts i bought from him

ARP studs are meant to be reused. not like stock headbolts. the headgasket was torqued but never saw heat. I wouldnt have even bothered selling it if it had been ran. Plenty of people will reuse their MLS gasket if it had just been torqued. If you torqued ur head, maybe found a leak, and pulled the head again, your telling me u would buy a new MLS gasket just because u had alread torqued it once? The copper exhaust gasket he received though was brand new and never been installed.

And really, if you see a post that states "parting out my motor", would you assume all the parts are brand new? You talk about common sense, but wouldnt common sense prompt you to at least ask if the parts are new or used if not specifically stated (which i still maintain they were, but for the sake of argument)?

Again, it was noted in the ad. The ad had been edited multiple times to remove the parts i sold (as is noted in the edit reason) so it cant be seen here anymore, but the same ad on KA-T still shows that i had noted it (the ads were copy pasted from each other). Good thing i forgot to update my KA-T ad because this proves my point. I got at least 2 people backing me up. This coulda gone a lot better but w/ the buyer filing a claim against me and locking up my paypal account w/o even sending me so much as a PM to let me know the deal, and him "threatining" me w/ legal action after paypal denied him, the whole deal just went sour.

The seller in question we are talking about is on ZILVIA not KA-T.org
Whatever business this person conducts over there is separate from here.

BOTTOM LINE

YOU SOLD USED PARTS AND DID NOT SPECIFY. I WAS UNHAPPY ABOUT THE PURCHASE AND WANTED A REFUND. IM NOW STUCK WITH USELESS PARTS AND YOU HAVE $160 OF MY MONEY.

Man up and give him the refund. If you not, nobody will buy from you again.

well if ppl are going to buy parts from someone they never met before they should ask a few questions. it is almost 200 bucks. i wouldnt just send some one 160 bucks for parts that i havent seen the pic or asked a few questions.

falt is with both the op and munkee

op for not asking questions and for pics and munkee for not being spicific
