sup people just trying to figure out what the prices maybe to tune this ecu and the difficulty to tune it because a local shop told me it will run me about 500 to tune it and im like damn 500? he says that the ecu is one of the worst avaliable because it erases its codes over time?just wanted to know if this is true and if the piggyback ecu is really worth it.the car runs fine but at times it backfires alot i was told because it was in need of a tune which is most likely new because the past owner just threw a turbo on and thats it.

tuning is expensive. i know we charge 185 an hour for piggybacks so its a fair price. dont know what he was talking about erasing codes..i think the ultimate is a great system but probably more than you need. youd be surprised at what a simple safc can do..

i pay 225 an hour to get my e-mange tuned and it only takes an hour to tune it. for 500 you better get a happy endding or 3 with that.
and i have had my emange for over 8 months now and have not had anything erased at all. dont know what that is all about.
