I just inherited a set of 5 zigen FN01RC bronze wheels for my stock body s13

They are all 4 18x8.5 + 30 offset. What size tires and spacers will make them fit right (look good) on the s13?

:hs: I was hoping for a serious answer. I'm not selling the wheels. Just want them to fit decent with what I have.

Besides half the wheels I see on this forum run spacers to fit.

You are looking at a 15 or 20 mm spacer to get the right fitment.

it was a serious answer

they're FN's
you can find them in better sizes cheaply, so why bother with spacers?

I think selling them is a good option...
SERIOUSLY.

You're asking for opinions, and you're getting them.

Sell them to some FWD or like Subaru dude, and buy a set of 18x9 +15 or something.

maybe I will sell them but they are all curbed up and I will probably lose money trying to replace them with something equivalent. I really just need these to get my 5 lug/ z brake setup installed. I dont want to buy "good" rims until I get the body finished and see just what all my fender clearances will be.

OK So hypothetically If I was to use them for now... just if.

For flushness or wider without rubbing,I am guessing I would want a final offset of around 10mm? Should I go wider offset for the rear?

what 18" tire size options will fit the 8.5 width and still clear the stock fenders?

why not put money on top of it and upgrade to something better?

use it like money, you know... the thing you should sell it for.

True the fuck that

Sell it.

Then thank everyone who told you to do so.

But then again you probably won't listen to us.

sell them
cop some stock SE wheels to roll on
save
done

especially since you seem incapable of determining wheel and tire size yourself, even with the huge wheel threads and millions of posts a day

How are you losing money if you inherited them?

Because I'm not telling you the full story for simplicity's sake... and I never expected so much resistance from you guys about Why I would do what I want to do.. LOL.
So here ya go

I inherited them from my OTHER car that I recently purchased nicer 19" deep lip staggered "show" rims for. I want to keep the 5zigens though since they are lightweight and fit perfect on my other car. When I am finished "temporarily using" them on the 240sx I want to mount drag radials and keep them for track days on my other car.

This will allow me to finish my 5 lug conversion NOW, then finish whatever body mods I end up doing BEFORE I get nicer wheels, so I will have the perfect fender clearance. I don't want to buy rims twice when I already have a set that will bolt on.

So now that everybody understands my FULL intent maybe it all makes better sense for you now.

I would still like help with spacer/tire fitment.

I bought RH Evolution J5 Pro 19x8.5, 19x10.5
So the other car is going from this:

How much you selling for?

So I would be at +5 all around on 8.5 width. Is that Flush or causing problems up front?

Problems you speak of are defined by tire size, fender modification, and camber. The less we know about your set up, the less we can help you.

stock 240sx. H & R springs lowered 1.5"
300zx TT 30mm brakes and s5 lug conversion.
stock fenders. stock camber, stock everything else. I would like to know the best tire size with spacers.

Don't bother buying spacers and tires for those wheels. Buy some suspension pieces and save for real wheels to fit the Z-brakes.

SERIOUSLY

copied from master guide to buying wheels thread.

Is this not very similar to what I want to do??? Difference being my wheels are 1/2" NARROWER (6.35mm per side). so I'm guessing 15mm spacers would work just fine on oem fenders without pulling and look about the same as the pic.

I would get 20 mm if you want it to be flush, unless you have camber adjustment, stick to 15mm or just sell the wheels like we said. Are you sure those wheels will clear your shocks/springs?

you should also seriously think about some extended wheel studs if you don't already have some, since running anything over 5mm on the stock studs starts becoming unsafe

+1 or get spacers with studs
