Hey does anyone know how diffucult it is to a put a SOHC in a 91+ s13.. I want a new chassis but my 90 motor is in top shape with only 125k and auto... i searched already and can only find info for the DE into a zenki... is there any wiring complications.. i have the entire car so sohc parts wont be a problem.

Nevermind that:
Follow the single-cam to twin cam instructions (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=33502) basically in reverse...
Harnesses, PS lines and hoses and such will need to be from your single cam, and keep in mind that automagic transmissions are not interchangeable like the 5-speeds are.

Really? What's different with the auto's? That's the first time I've heard that...but then again its the first time Ive heard of a dohc -> sohc swap, so I guess the issue has never come up before.

For that, Nick, I am going solely on the information that allowed my coupe to find me as it did...
The guy that sold it to me, got it from a lady whose daughter had blown the SOHC, he was going to slap a twincam in the car, already an auto, and tranny just wasn't having it. In such, I got a car at a good price, blown Single-Cam already out and ready for twincam, a perfect candidate for a 5-speed... You know what I am wheeling now.

i have an entire 5-speed swap so im not concerned about the automaitc tranny, the reason im doing it is because i already have the engine.. i dont trust buying used pos engines from other people and it would be a huge waste of time if i dropped it in and it started giving me problems. I also dont care for the extra 15 horsepower woopeeeee
