i just installed my intercooler kit on my ka24de and noticed theres one big rubber hose and a smaller one next to it that was both plugged into the stock intake pipe. I know where the big one goes onto my cold pipe but dont know what to do with the smaller one. for now i just capped it . what does this need to go to or is capping it just fine?

heres a pic of the hose:

its been a while since i fucked with ka's but i think it might be for a charcoal canister or evap or something. My buddy's got a ka-t and i never noticed that hose connected to anything. Cap it and see what happens!

yah i capped if for now. cars not tuned yet but when i start it, i have to give the car some gas then it idles. if i dont gas it car just dies. was wondering if that hose had to do with the car not starting w/out gassing it.

I would adjust your iacv now that you have to compensate for intercooler piping. Try that and see how it works for you. I dont believe that caped off hose would have anything to do with your idle.
