NRG Coilovers

I have a set of NRG coilovers. They probably have about 5000 miles on them. I paid a flat 1000 dollars for them.

I have used them with swift springs and they handle well. The original spring have been put back on. Im looking at selling these for about 650 shipped.

They are an s14. Im getting rid of these because I go rid of my s14 and now I have an s13. So trades for s13 coilovers are welcome.

use them on your S13, you can make is super low that way. or is it the other way around....

I think its the other way around. I tried comparing them with my friends set of JIC for the s13 but the rears are way too long and the top mounts on the rears are different too. I think the shock tower mounts were wider on the s14 ( I could be wrong I dont really remember)

IIRC, you can only swap out the s14/s13 fronts, not the rears.

Fronts are different as the s14 uses 14mm bolts and the s13 uses 12mm bolts or something to that effect. Other then that, the tophat fits.

5000 miles? i don't know how much that really is for coil-overs.. how much longer would they last? do they still feel and sound good (no hissing) during normal street driving too? i'm thinking about buying these... where in CA are you located?

I will do it for 600 picked up.
And no I do not feel or hear any kind of hissing from them or anything. The coilovers are in perfectly good working condition. And coilovers should be good for well over 5000 miles.

Dont forget that they can be rebuilt. I can have that done for you inexpensivly if they ever go out in your lifetime. As of now the shocks are almost brand spankin new.

I've searched and searched for these coilovers online but it seems that no one carries them. The picture I found for NRG coilovers is this one

I know that this picture doesn't represent the actual application for an S14, hence the lower mounts and what not, but I would think that they should be somewhat similar looking to them right? I also noticed that they had no badging so maybe if you can take a picture of the NRG logo on the coils or something, that would help. It's hard to tell from the pics you posted, but do these come with camber plates? And are these coilovers damper adjustable? Do you have the original spec sheet for these or can you post one up? Thanks. I'm sure the additional info will help produce a faster sale, as would a drop in price :naughty:

These coilovers were pretty limited in supply. They do come with camber plates and are 4 way adjustable. The reason why they did this is because they wanted a setting that you can feel. Trust me when I say this, the dampening levels can be felt for sure. The adjustments ranges are the same as any 30 way adjustable coilovers but these have been conveniently made for 4 levels of dampening. I cannot find any NRG logo on them, but that is like I said again limited in quantity and I do not believe they released it to the public. They have been track tested and will most definately make the car handle much better. I can assure you that these are NRG. I bought this set directly from them.

bottom line is that they are decently high quality coilovers, (It contains all the adjustablility needed for any enthusiast.) and I have priced them so that they are affordable. I'm sure that whoever sports these will understand what I am saying. I believe they are cleverly put together, and if I still had an s14 they would not be up for sale.

I think I remember you from the track day. Did you have that maroon zenki? You were doing really well out there. Were you running these coilovers?

Yeah I clocked a 1.39 at big willow stock KA with these coilovers
and a 1.35 on streets.
