Dallas, TX area 240 owners report in

Aite, on my way home from starbucks on custer today in Plano, TX I saw a very clean looking S14. It was lowered, new exhaust, red paint, black hood. Only saw it for a second... usually when I see modded 240's I have a habit of driving next to them and complimenting their ride.

Anyway, just so I'll know a Zilvia member when I see one, what kind of 240sx do you drive in the DFW metroplex? Any plano zilvia people?

I drive a white S13 1990 240sx (has the snout under the hood) that is currently stock aside from gauge overlays and home-made racing slicks (I peel out too much <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>).

Exactly what problems are you having with the S15 conversion? &nbsp;Which kit are you using?

I go to Plano East Senior High, and drive a black 1996 240sx but mine is stock <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> However there is a red s13 with a body kit also at PESH, not sure which kind of body kit though. What school do you go to?

Hi! I'm new here.

I go to UNT, so I'm kinda on the fringe of the DFW area. My friends and I are in Dallas alot, though. I can usually be seen cruising around downtown, in Mesquite, Garland, or Richardson. I drive a white '96, with some hideous nissan rims, and(soon) a big-ass apexi gt-spec exhaust. I've only had my car for a month, and I absolutley love it! Hopefully I'll be modding it more soon, and that huge pipe will actually be useful &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

I've got a red S13. &nbsp;It's currently in the shop, but should be out this coming week. &nbsp;It will have a C-West front bumper when it comes out of the shop. &nbsp;It's stock other than that, but I just found an Apexi N1 dual at the junkyard that I'll put on it soon &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
I'm in North Dallas, I don't get to Plano very often.

everything looks great, the carbon fiber hood is beautiful, but the fenders are messed up. They don't match up with the front bumper/headlights <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

Went to Plano Senior High School, but I'm going to Walden Prep in Addison now. And I'd like to state that for the record, Walden kicks the ass of any public school within a million miles of plano.

In Plano I've also seen a green S14 with a Silvia emblem on it. Some young black guy was driving it. I wanted to get up next to him and ask if he had the engine... well, I doubt he did, I couldn't hear a BOV or anything.

That guy with the green s14 works as an installer at the Ultimate Electronics store off of 75(I am 80% sure thats him). Go to the back and you may see his car.

I don't know if any junkyard in particular is good for Nissans. &nbsp;I just went cruisin around on Saturday. &nbsp;I ended up at Alamo Auto Salvage. &nbsp;There's a ton of yards on Jefferson in Grand Prarie. &nbsp;Jefferson is just south of where I-30 and Loop 12 cross. &nbsp;I found 3 out of 4 5 lug hubs, and then I noticed an S13 with an aftermarket exhaust - score!

Hi guys, I guess Im the newest person in this. &nbsp;I picked up my 95 240 yesterday. &nbsp;Nice, clean car, runs great, no mods, 70k. &nbsp;Anyway, I have been a member of the RX-7 group in DFW for a while, but back in may I was in a hit and run that totalled my FD and left me without someone else to pay for it...ah well. &nbsp;I got a 240 now (great cars also, would like to slowly convert it towards more Silvia specs, and while i know a ton about the RX-7, this is kind of new for me...I know about the sr20det swap...somewhat anyway...and sorry, but the 3rd gen RX-7 will always be my true love). &nbsp;Anyway, hi guys, whats up, and I live in Arlington. &nbsp;Peace.

Also, a friend (Wompa164 on rx7club) has seen a blue 240sx at his school. It's the brother of someone that attends his school. He has done the rb25dett swap on his s13, but I haven't seen it yet. Hot.

sil80girlie, don't do the crappy s15 front, leave it as a 180 or silvia s13 front....theyre sexy...no s15 sell that crap..
i'd imagine it's a bit too late for that advice seeing as her posts were about 2 years ago ;)
