As my fuel pump is on the fritz, I am upgrading it to a Walbro 255. Thing is, right now my car is stock. Stock Ka24e, stock injectors, everything other than a muffler and a ricey air filter. Am I going to have any problems with a significantly more amount of fuel flow and not enough demand for it? I have heard that for Talons anyways, if you run a 255, you must also upgrade the fuel pressure regulator. Is this true for all vehicles? Is there anything else I should upgrade with my fuel system now that I am at it anyways? The reason I chose to go with the 255 even though the car is stock is because I will eventually either swap an SR or turbo the KA. Since I need a new fuel pump, I may as well upgrade now. Thanks for the input.

After my walbro my psi at idle was 50. Some people report no problems but it would be safer to get a fpr.
