Help... Changed t.manifold and now it wont fire

First and Foremost, i have searched.
Yesterday, i replaced my stock turbo manifold (Sr20det) with a ss autochrome. i was told that when you change them out for a little bit you will smoke. So on the way home i was smoking alot. i pulled over and checked everything out and discovered that i am in need of a valvecover gasket, And i checked my fuseboxes and the inside box where the ignition fuse should be there was nothing there not a fuse or fuse acceptor ,if you will, anywhoo it wouldnt start again. It will crank until the cows come home but no fire. Today, i checked for spark by priming my system with a little bit of gas on the airfilter, and no fire. Also checked the fuel system and pulled the line and gas went everywhere when cranking the engine. I need help, thanks in advance.

I'm speechless...
Bad/worn/old valve cover gasket - oil leaking around the head. No reason for smoke.
No ignition fuse? How the hell did you start the car to drive home?
There are better more accurate ways of checking spark. What's the condition of the plugs?
Did you replace your manifold and other worn gaskets when you threw on the new mani? Leaks here could be the source of your smoke.

Well i guess the sparkplugs were fouled out so i bought new ones and now it will turn over, but i have to feather the gas to get it to turn over and keep a steady idle. My timing is definitely retarded; however i think with a quick turn of my idle screw that should cover me for a little while. And i think i found out why im smoking from under the hood. When i installed the engine, i looped the coolant line to bypass heater hoses and i happen to be leaking there and dropping on the block causing smoke and the mysterious sizzle, i failed to mention, when the car is off. But anywhoo, do you think to tighten the idle screw would be good? for now atleast.

Thats very odd, i wouldnt see why your car wouldnt start after mani swap.

Seems like you took off more than a mani lol.

no, i have no idea. My guess is that while doing the swap my car decided to one up me for interstate abuse. I'd swear sr's have a mind of their own. But i think i have just started to realize problems, at the wrong time. Its hard to keep up with it when school and work takes up 90% of my time. But i have no idea why my timing is screwed and why my idle is weird. The only other thing i did was re-route my vacuum lines to the "right" way, according to sr20 owners club.

yeah make sure you did your vacuum lines right. Also take the time to reset the timing back to stock. Then make sure you have zipties on all your vacuum lines. Secondly make sure you get a fuse to that box..
