so is installing a sr and driving it on the street.
I don't think it's such a big deal, as long as you're honest about the chassis mileage if/when you sell it.
I've tried to roll the odo numbers back with a screwdriver, but they didn't move very easily, and I didn't want to mess it up...

The people watching this forum who'll get pissed at you one day for calling them a name, then turn you in. You kids these days hold grudges over the smallest things for years.

how funny.....illegal.....
i'm sure that %99.9 of zilvia members have "illegal" parts on/done to their car. but thats only here say. if i wanted to go to a "legal" forum, i'd proably be one of those guys who still pays 100 bucks to get there oil changes at the local nissan dealership.
If your is 240 COMPLETELY stock...i mean COMPLETELY STOCK and are happy that you haven't made a single modification to suit ur automotive needs, then good for you....but i don't see how this forum would help you with anything with ur car.
illegal smahsheegal.
and for those who won't help and are just posting to build your zilvia reputation from "wanabe" to "nissan fanatic" :fawkd:
actual thanks for those who are sharing there experience, advice and stories to help your fellow 240's

whether the people have illegal parts is not the issue. The issue is you just don't go out in public and start asking questions like yours. Its common sense. This is a public forum which means anyone could be watching or on here. You should just learn what you do and don't ask about in public. People don't come on here asking where they can buy weed, crack, heroin etc.. its not logical.
Asking about commiting a federal offense is not logical either. This is the second time in two days one of you guys has come on here and publicly asked how you can blatantly break the law. Which could get you thrown in Jail. Yes changing vins and rolling odometers back are jail offenses. Owning a sr in your car is not . Just use your brain next time.

There is a difference between a illegal mod such as an SR.
Changing the miles on the odometer and then blatantly telling a lie is illegal and going against ethics. Much like selling a car with a clean title when you know it should've/is salvaged.
Every time you smog/register/sell a car, the odo mileage is recorded and kept track of. The moment they see your car has LESS mileage than the chassis did prior will raise a flag. That's why you have to state under oath that the mileage is true and not fraudulent. If it isn't, then you have to explain and give a good reason why.
drive in reverse for a long time
it works! done it myself! :keke::keke:

theres 2 types of illegal out there. there is creative illegal and dumb illegal... modding a car is creative and fun and the only reason its illegal is because hippies who care about what they breath, and people who complain about noise too much, rolling back the odometer and stuff like that is just fraud and screws up a lot of things
