this sucks. ive been building my project for some while now, and now that im trying to bring her into the streets, my dmv fees are gonna be around a grand.. oops yeah and then i have to get it smoged (test only). sucks huh?

well heres what im trying to do:

buy a s13 vert.
yank my SR, suspension set up, and stero, etc..
start a new vert project.
sell the old car as rolling chasis.

what you guys think? the old car is a beautiful, fully stock, straight body s13 coupe in that lovely s13 red (not burgandy). ive lways wanted a vert, cuz i gotta face it- this car is just a fun car, even tho i'll drive it daily. hey it'll be fun.

so start a vert project or just suck it up and pay the fees?

anyone need a 91 s13 coupe chasis (with oem sunroof) for track duty?

blah. opinons, please... not like itll matter.

Why didn't you just non-op the car?

You're gonna have a rough time selling the car, trying to convince someone else to pay the fees.

yeah you guys are right. i tottally didnt register the car as non operating, and now i am slammed in $760 worth of dmv fees. i know, i know, and the car hasnt seen a registered year in over 4 years. :( the other burn? test only smog. yeah i know, i have an uncle that'll pass me too, but i still gotta pay someone something.

soon enough i will sell the chasis to someone who'd like a coupe as a track car, or to anyone sillly enough to pay for my mistakes.

the chasis is flawless, and i WILL BE selling cheap.
just gotta figre out which s13 chasis to buy.

s13 hatch?
silvia convertible anyone?
you think it has more sex points? i do.

tell me what you think.

No 15+ year old car will have "sex points," not with women at least, even if it is a convertible.
I say man up and pay those 4 years in fees and work with what you have instead of taking on a new project.

God, I love NC, if I don't want to drive the car for 4 years, they're fine with it, so long as I turn in my tags and don't get caught driving it... Then I have no safety inspection, insurance or taxes to worry about.
