Registering SR in Cali?

Ok. I am about to move back down to cali from washington. My registration expires in FEB 08. I was wondering how everyone is passing the inspection and emissions in Southern Cal. I am thinking about just keeping it registered in washington since some counties don't require an emissions test. Any feed back or advice would be helpful?

you wouldnt have to worry about any ref tickets
