just a quick question.

i got new bucket seats and my thighs rub against the stock steering wheel now. I cut the cushion down by %75 and put the tilt as high as possible. When i autocross, the only way my helmet will fit is if i take the cushion out completely and the sunroof a open.

gonna get a quick release steering but don't wanna end up getting a bigger steering wheel by accident.

Whats the stock 1995 s14 steering wheel size?

Stock is around 360mm.

So get a 350 or smaller.

I believe last time I measured, S13 was around ~368-370mm

So I'd assume S14 is the same

Like kdashy said, just get 350mm or smaller and you won't have anything to worry about

ill probably go 320mm

i was also wondering if the steering wheel is smaller, would that make the lock to lock turns increase from 1.5 to 2.0(or something like that)?

^ it will require more effort since you will have less leverage but you will get used to it. Also keep in mind that when you get the hub & quick release that it will bring the steering wheel closer to your chest which should give you more room below.

Double check to ensure that your seat is "low" enough Ive got a seat and a quick disconnect (SP) and I still have my tilt steering wheel all the way up and a 330MM wheel
