isnt it dangerous to run a racing harness without a roll cage anyway.

im running 2 sparco's and stock seatbelts,
only problem you have is nowhere to mount the recieving end of the seatbelt, so they are left dangling and it's a bit of a hassle to buckle up each time...

Yeah lots of people (myself included) run racing seats with stock seatbelts. The problem is that the seats mount lower, so the shoulder harness can rub your neck if you're short, and be a little uncomfortable if you're tall.
The problem with a real 4pt harness is a] you have no "good" place (like a harness bar) to mount the rear points, and b] if you half ass it, it's actually not a good idea safety-wise because without a roll cage, you might need to get out of that seat quick, fast, and in a hurry in an accident.
Basically if you've got a cage, get the harness, cause you can mount it properly and fully benefit from it. If you don't, then you're streeting your car anyway, and don't need the harness.

depending on what type of rail you use, the rail should have a hole for the buckle side of the seat belt. I had the sparco speed w/ wedge engineering rail, and the rail had a hole to screw in the stock seat belt buckle, and it screwed in perfectly.
and yeah, due to its possition, the top seat belt strap went straight for my neck, lol. I just fed the seat belt through one of the harness holes on the seat.
and imo... 4pt harness for daily driving looks retarded. I've seen some honda guys driving with 4pt harnesses... it looks dumb, not to mention if you don't mount it correctly, you can really fuck you spine up
