ONYX, hope your stomach decides to take kindly to some wings. Never wanna pass up a chance for wings. Not on a Friday night...

Shit. Stew takes too damn long. It's midnight - and I'm cooking stew. wtfh

But it'll be worth it. Beef stew and some 2% milk... mmmm. That'd be cool if the cow that I'm about to eat was related to one of the cows that was milked.

Either way: I win -- they lose.

Yeah, would have been with milk... but my bitchwolf roommate drank the rest without telling anyone.

BTW, the stew was brutal. Somehow, everything turned out just right.

Sounds too damn difficult! Though, that could be because I don't have a clue what most of the sushi stuff is... never have had the chance to try it. I'd like to...

I had wings last night. Local places' nuclear sauce is awesome.

Unfortunately, the wings combined the wide array of beer and bourbon last night causing my asshole to have a meltdown this morning.

Just had some shrimp/pasta stuff my fiancee made. Pretty baller stuff.

I don't think you could possibly cook potatoes a wrong way. Like Bubba and his shrimp but with potatoes.

Potato soup, baked potatoes, roasted potatoes, grilled potatoes, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, french fried potatoes, scalloped potatoes, hashed potatoes, boiled potatoes, twice-baked potatoes...

See, that is going purely at the assumption that the individual cooking knows what they're doing...
I have, in my time, seen just about ANYTHING that people assumed "couldn't be done the wrong way" royally fucked up.
Personally, if I do not know what I am working with, I play it safe, but I am a good enough cook by this time that this is rarely an issue. I am basically realistic enough with myself to not take on shit that I KNOW I shouldn't have any business touching.
My potatoes tonight, though, were the GREATEST.

True...

I will clarify: There's no wrong way I can cook a potato. But I'm perfect at everything [though I choose to seemingly make a mistake just so people won't worship me]. Aren't you perfect too?

Grilled salmon, green beans, mashed red potatoes with cheese and sauteed onions/peppers in them.
Then my brother shows up with a HUGE bag of cod, with his girlfriend, his son and her kids in tow, apparently it is my job to fry that.
He brought enough to feed them, me, my mother and whomever else comes by this house that doesn't live here...
I am only disliking that my "day" to cook has turned into me cooking dinner 5 of the last 8 days.

I'm bored again...

Had some chili/chese/tortilla chips. Pretty tasty. Simple, yet tasty. But for lunch, we had a "homecoming/reunion" thing. Dammin' food everywhere. Southeastern country/mountain food. No sushi, no. Clog your arteries in three bites, food. Mmmmmm.

How do I stay skinny?!? :takes hit off crack pipe:
