Alright guys I just timed the SR but im looking at the timing chain guis and it looks to be further back than the chain itself. I have turned the motor over while timing it so im not sure why it is like this. The chain seems to come off the guide down low toward the crank. Anyone have input as to get it back on?

Did you get the correct bolts that press the the guide firmly down? If you get new guides and have the old bolts the guide will not tighten down correctly. Otherwise i don't really see what you are asking either

Here maybe this clears it up. The chain is not between the two lips of the guide.
