do you ever get tired of looking at you worn out stock seats? well i did.. OK, so i took my 7 months of experience from working for my uncle dooby at his upholstery shop, and put them to work. so i took a set of ordinary seat covers (black) which the material is similar to the headliner, and cut and raped my stock seats. its not perfect, but a lot better than what there was... the only bad or sloppy part is where the material meets in the back of the seat. i haven't done the drivers seat yet because i plan on modding the seat frame to resemble a race style seat. (yea bootleg, but hey I'll save a couple c-notes)

so, yea let me know what you think about my backyard boogie!

The rear seats look pretty good... That front isnt bad except for the back. But Im with the other guys, I would have just gotten something else to replace the fronts altogether.

I like the back seats, but i would have chosen different material. It doesn't really appeal to me. Good job on the work though.

yea i have an uncle nicknamed dooby, his shop's name is doobys automotive in simivalley. i chose to use my stockers because it was more conveniant and the seat covers were wholesale threw my dad.i would like to get some nice race style seats, but i cant find them under $200 ea. i used 2 sets of seat covers. they have them in blue, red, black, and grey. i didnt have to fix the foam it was ok, just the material was bad. and yea i agree the front seats look ok except for the backs, i think i said that in my first post. the car was originaly red but i decided to spray can two tone it when i swapped out the front end for a better one which was all mismatched.

i'll try to get some day shots for you guys this weekend.
