Just curious to see what everyone's thoughts are on using a TD04-H turbo for a conservative KA-T setup with power goals in the 230-250 range. I'd appreciate any and all feedback.

At those levels, I would just use the stock sr redtop turbo. Cheap and easy.

^^ he is correct... is it a stock wrx turbo? or off a auto 1g dsm? either way - t25 off a sr is prolly your best bet

I'm having trouble finding a good T25 for a reasonable price though. Everybody is jacking up the prices of them because of the KA-T crowd demand... if you know of any in good condition for a reasonable price, please PM me and let me know

BS.
Find every engine importer in So-Cal, and call them. Should be under $400. Search the advertiser board for importers.
Dont just rely on the classifieds, there is lots of advertisers here waiting to help you.

I have an rb25 ball bearing turbo that would be perfect for your power goals. I'm asking $300 plus shipping. Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks
Steven

damn I've never heard of spending so much on a stock redtop turbo. Maybe if it was freshly rebuilt but still.
