has anyone heard of this place in San Diego? are they trustworthy? I noticed they post a lot of different s14 up on autotrader.... but i dunno if its just a bust like proto.

anywhere is a decent place to get a car.. you just gotta look at it yourself and inspect it.. you have to know what you are getting into.

proto sells decent cars, cars with bodykits so your already good to go if thats what you want.. these are cars over 15-20 years old etc, expect mechanical problems due to age.

They are a bit over priced, but they tend to have some pretty damn clean S-chassis.

Just give it a run through like Hypertek said.

Their cars are ALRIGHT, just make sure you inspect what you're getting yourself into. My friend got his S14 from there and it had some rust underneath, not a big deal but it was there.

But they are definetely over priced and I'm pretty sure they get their cars for cheap.

Strider: this i recommend to everyone, when looking up a business, it lets you see how legit they are when it comes to reconized by the state of CA. I some times look at this for other reasons though, you might find it helpful.
