If the T28 was pulled off an S14 SR, you are going to have to determine whether or not the turbo is ball bearing by looking at the serial numbers on the turbo. The stock T25 turbo lines from the S13 SR will not fit without modification, so Stainless Steel turbo lines would be the route you should take-still leaving you with one more option. Since the T25 from the S13 SR is not ball bearing, you can use your stock banjo bolts only if you have determined that your T28 is NOT ball bearing. If it is ball bearing you will have to do away with the stock banjo bolts, get a fitting on one end of the line that fits on the block, and the oil restrictor on the other end which threads right into the turbo. BTW, stock thread on the S13 SR BLOCK is 12x1.25 METRIC (thread of S13 stock banjo bolt.) Does that make any sense?
IT IS an S14 Turbo- no split on the back of the turbine housing between the flapper door, and the turbine wheel.

Putting a restrictor on your turbo, is done to regulate oil PSI to prolong the life of your turbo, because higher engine speed means greater engine oil PSI. TOO much oil in your turbo can lead to a blown seal, and the only way to diagnose the problem is oil coming out of the compressor housing, or oil burned out the turbine down the exhaust. Ball bearing turbo's are not rebuildable- so DO YOU NEED A RESTRICTOR? YES it's better to be safe than sorry spending $12 or so on a restrictor sounds a lot better than throwing away $400-500 on a turbo.

hope this helps...

Cuz the Stock restrictor is built in to the Banjo Bolt so when you run SS Lines they dont have restrictors in them so you have you buy them for your setup
