I did a search, and most came up with the turbo swap.

I've been looking at the NA SR20DE swap into my s13. My SOHC is dead, and I drive 20K miles a year, so i'm trying to save on gas. The s13 is mainly a commuter car. The KA averaged out at 26-27 mpg, hoping the NA SR will get up to 30 mpg.

I'm looking at the S14 NA SR20DE motorset from venus auto:

What kind of problems would i be running into? I know that the wiring harness has to be lengthened on the turbo motor; do i have to do this on the NA SR? or will a S13 KA24DE wiring harness suffice?

I already have a DOHC gauge cluster

Thanks for any help

I'm pretty sure that you can use a modified KADE harness. If you don't get any better replies here, check out sr20forum.com. There are a few really good threads on this swap there.

i had this swap in my 89.
find a dual cam harness an cut and splice it like a ka24e-]ka24de swap and that all it needs to run harness wize. buy to get the vvt working send out the harness to some one. i suggest doing this b/c a ka24de felt like it have a lil more mojo to it.
