engine breathers

ok dont think im stupid or anything and im sorry if some of u think this is a dumb question but how many engine breathers do we need.  just one right?

Are you takling about your valve cover vent?

If so the correct answer is 0. You want to have vacume on that valve cover vent other wise it serves no function what so ever.

Get a catch tank or leave it stock. Breathers are a waste of money, and are technically bad for your head.

ok...b/c i was reading an older post about intakes and this kid said i should get breathers for my engine instead of using the intake.

so how does one set that up?  i see catch cans for sale all the time.  id like to get one, but what do i do?  you say it needs vaccum right?  so do u run the hose from the valve cover to the can, then run a hose to the intake to provide vaccum, or can u just run a line to the can and call it a day?
