man, im mad... &nbsp;my neighbor just got a 240sx. &nbsp;a black '93 to be in fact. &nbsp;on top of that, it has this little sticker that say super hicas!!! :o so my neighbor (16 yr old cheerleader) has a 240sx with ABS, an LSD (super hicas always has the lsd), the color i wanted, super hicas, and 111k miles. &nbsp;im tryin to convice her to trade me differentials, hehehehe.... &nbsp;is anyone up for a little secret "WRC style" diffential swap at say, uh, 3 am tonite? &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

oh yeah, i forgot to add that it doesnt even run yet. &nbsp;her dad was told that the timing chain snapped. &nbsp;well, i was like cool, that shouldnt be too hard to fix. &nbsp;so i ask if i can pull the valve cover. &nbsp;hmm, the chain didnt snap. &nbsp;the exaust cam actually SNAPPED! &nbsp;ive never seen that before. &nbsp;it looks pretty bad. &nbsp;but still, they paid $500 for it. &nbsp;why me? &nbsp;if i had paid $500 for mine, it'd have an SR by now...

After so many project cars, here's my advice:

Swap in a new/used engine that hasn't been hurt. &nbsp;Save the old one for parts, but be extremely wary of warpage/breakage. &nbsp;Valves hitting pistons can damage a crankshaft/engine casing as well. &nbsp;Sounds like you are describing major head damage, which means it likely affected the bottom end. &nbsp;You may be able to save a few parts though. &nbsp;But hell, people are always selling cheap SOHCs and DOHCs on this forum. &nbsp;Just keep a look out.
