Steam Cleaner + Stain Remover + Washing your ass on a daily basis so you don't "funk" them up again.

I cleaned my very dirty S14 seats with some dry-cleaning stuff I bought at Checker. I think it was Meguiar's stuff.

It worked pretty well. No pics, sorry.

Just spray on, rub with a nice thick brush, wipe off with paper towels. You'll be surprised at how dirty everything is.

I agree. It doesn't make sense to clean those seats, with all of those rips present.

per seat? wow. I bought two sets of S14 seats in a span a of a month and paid $100 for one set and $125 for the other!

Try to find locals selling them. It's rare to find a decent set in the junkyard.

car wash man! it's amazing the color of the water that leaks out when you take them to the car wash and blast the hell out of them. I have done it to several sets of seats and it works wonders. Just spray some carpet cleaning spray on them, let it soak in and blast away. Here in vegas, my seats dried in like half a day!

When using a steamcleaner try not to get the seat soaking wet. Most of the time there are stains soaked into the foam and the excess water will bring them to the top and make it look worse. The carwash idea isn't too bad as long as you don't go crazy with it. Apply cleaner, brush lightly, blast away.

I suggest having the old material ripped off and seats refinished. Some upholstry shops will even custom shape the new foam for the seats to add support where it once had none.

Werd, get rid of those seats. Pick up some S14's or something. Those are not worth the effort of cleaning.

Other then a steam cleaner though I suggest a shop vac and cleaning them that way. Shop vacs are pretty cheap and you can use'em for a lotta stuff.

But seriously. Just get new seats.

A lot of good ideas.

If you use a steam vac (which you can get at any grocery store, and I belive places like walmart.) You just clean the hell out of them and then suck all the water out so you won't have to worry about leaving them out to dry.

My opinion like already said. Get a pair of S14 seats. They are comftorable, look good and not expensive. I paid $200 for a pair a couple years ago. They are easy to find.

If you REALLY must clean those torn up seats, most rent-all places rent out good steam cleaners.
