The Basics:

Type of Event: HPDE (High Performance Driving Event), not a race. This is a track day open to drivers of all skill-levels and car types for practice. Grip and Drift drivers will be in separate run groups!

Details: This is a high-seat time driving event, in the past our events have had more than enough seat time for all of the drivers and we plan to keep it that way. Safe environment to push the limits of your car and find out what you and your car can do.

im in 3rd in the Fit, but your right alot of 2nd. Its a short track though and technical so mistakes make a big difference

Compared to willow- MUCH MUCH MUCH slower. Willow i was hitting (iirc) 80mph in the downhill part. At htm it's almost all second with exception of a short third coming down towards water tower and then in the "strait" directly behind the tower.

You think its comming soon :) I have to pull my sr out of my s14 put a new shortblock together and install the sr into the s13, The s13 is completly stock so I need to swap over all my supsension from the s14 and align. Plus all the little stuff. Like prepping the chassis while the motor is out and ect. :) Dont think it will be done.

SRT has had BEST track days i've ever been to. I've been to MANY events, none come close... Not to mention Sam proved himself when i broke down on my first run and he helped me out... nuff said.

HTM is... depends on which way you're going. Counter-clockwise is best, IMO, because you get going the fastest and the sweeper into the chicane separates the men from the boys and lets you gain serious time if you're in it to win it.

Clockwise ain't bad either though and is actually a little bit more technical, I think.

I know I hit 80/90+ on the downhill going CC. It's been so long that I've forgotten. :duh: I seem to remember being in the top of 3rd...

I prefer the Streets but I love Horsethief because it's like the mountain roads I grew up on.

Its obviously different cause I'm in a corolla, but going clockwise I'm in fourth gear going uphill on the front straight. The accel is pegged from the exit of the final hairpin before the water tower to the top of the hairpin after the water tower. this is with R-compound of course :)

I've seen this guy's car and talked to him at length about his mods and plans and trust me his car is gunna be fuckin fast if it ever gets done. I hope he makes this event cuz I wanna see it in action. Hopefully I can get my bucket ready in time.

only the chickane if its run ccw. and even then I would hate life. Brakes suck on the fit and I have 90whp.

Well it was quite an eventful day for me, I had 2, yes 2 phuck!ng blow outs on the way to the track. Thanks to Zilvia member:bigok: BRAINFOOD:bigok: , for coming to pick me up & give me a ride to the pep boys on J ave to get a tire. Then I finally got there at noon, & made the most of it, had a great time dicing with ZILVIA member MEHSILVIA:bigok: .
