I want a ps3 so bad specially with the new Grand Turismo coming out but just to stay current in todays extremely fast paced world of technology I think you should change your post since PS3s dont retail for $600.
Sony gave the slow selling PS3 a $100 price cut on both versions of the system some time ago now and because they are still collecting dust on the shelves and 360s and Wiis continue to beat out Sony's sales. Sony could be mulling over another price reduction in the coming weeks. Some observers think an announcement might come as soon as this week's Tokyo Game Show.
My plans for a late x-mas present to myself this year should come very true after PS3's second price cut before the holidays...

actually it was 20GB/60GB. the 20GB was completely discontinued & the 60GB got the $100 price drop.

that's a GREAT ass price for the 80GB system, and just incase heads didn't know, the 80gig actually comes with the game Motorstorm ($60)
