thinking of getting some 16x8 or 15x8 wheels with 0+ offset for my S13. and i'm wondering, with my offset so far out in the front will it effect my turning radius? or does the steering get heavier cause wheels it has to turn are farther out? and does it feel better that stock with this offset, like a wider stance up front? any info is great. thanks.

Umm...you do have power steering dont you?!?!

the steering gets heavier because the scrub radius (distance from the steering axis to the center of the contact patch) is greater, not to mention you probably have wider, stickier tires to push against. i don't think the steering radius will change unless you get into rubbing issues.

steering will change with lower offset wheels. why because teh wheels are further apart so when you turn the radius of the outside wheel will be greater than that of a lower offset wheel. But, the change is so small everyone over looks it...

dont trip. I'm running a 9.5 wide wheel with a sticky 255/35/18 front tire... My steering (w/ powersteering obviously) is fine.

only rx7club guys worry about scrub radius. lol

tons of people run like 9+15 and even wider / lower offset

yes it increases steering effort a bit, but you'll be fine
