Hey I recently did a auto to manual swap on my 240sx, I didn't disconnect anything but the automatic harness. I jumped the cable to itself, and it started right up, OK I drove it, and I drove it hard down the street just didn't want to go further than 3k RPM at the time. I burned a little bit of tire. On my way back to the house, I tried hitting 5.5k RPM and, it wouldn't go past 4k RPM, I mean it would but it would climb only like 100 rpm every 2 or 3 seconds. anybody know what can be wrong? It is a 1991 240sx, automatic ECU still, I just have the speed censor hooked up. Also, is the cross member from automatic to manual the same or different? The auto x member won't line up to the holes. I did a little custom one, but its all wobly. A buddy is of mines is parting out his s13 and, I'm taking coil overs, and two fenders for 5$ If the X member is different please say now, before I go and pick up the things tomorrow. Thanks a lot. Please take into consideration that I just turned 15 and I don't have the funds to take it to a master electrician. :hs:
