lsd w/o oe lsd or with lsd

hey people which nismo lsd should i purchase for my 96' 240sx It is a stock 240 and I believe it has the stock 1way lsd which nismo lsd will be good enough to just drop into my car without any problems?

Do you have ABS on your S14? If so then you probably have the VLSD. If I were you I would trade that for a non-LSD diff and then get the Nismo for that. That way you can get back some cash to help pay for the Nismo.

thx pm sent dude im a lil confused on which nismo lsd to buy being that their are two different ones with oe lsd or w/o oe lsd only a twenty dollar difference

First off take a look at the differential in the car. If there is a sticker on it that says VLSD buy the "With oe LSD" If there is no sticker buy the "Without oe LSD"

Is your car an SE or a base? all SE's came with VLSD abs or not.

Sounds to me - no offense - like you're really new to this stuff. I'd recommend doing some homework, looking up threads and reading up on information on the various types of diffs and figuring out which is best for what you plan to do with your car. In other words searching.
I'd start out with a VLSD if all you want is better traction on your daily driver.

Just watch out for those 'unlimited slip differentials'. Those are only for pros.
