I recently invested in a Snap On valve spring removal tool. This tool is by far the easiest to use to remove sr20det valve springs. It only took me maybe 20 minutes to remove them. And the install of the valve springs only took maybe 30-45 minutes. If you want to save some money, just rent my tool. Usually replacing your valve springs is a one time deal so why buy the tool when you are only going to use it once.
