will r33 front brake calipers fit on an s13? i was planing on doing the 5 lug swap front and rear, but is there anything special i need for the r33 front calipers to work? rotors, lines, etc. or will just any z32 parts work. and if i do the front, will the r33 rear fit as well? or will the z32 rear calipers work just fine?

R33 GTR's / Z32s / R32 / etc are all pretty much the same thing
Fronts yes no problem, just get Z32 rotor / pads and lines
Rears R33 wont work, caliper works and everything but some pieces on the e brake assembly on the R33 won't bolt to the S13 spindle
I'm currently facing this issue, had to find a part off the Z32 setup which is hard(er) to find. Luckily I got some help from some generous folks on this board but still
Buy a Z32 rear e brake assembly for sake of ease
But yeah search around first, google "importnut 300zx" and you'll see the how to

i believe R33 GTRs are brembos which makes the install a bit more complicated, but if your're talking about GTS-T(RB25DET chassis) then it's bolt on for the front. Z32 rotors and pads will work but the rotors are a bit small. R33 GTS-T rotors are 296x30mm while the Z32 are 280x30mm, so the pad will hang off the end of the rotors. It still works and i have yet to find a place that can get me 296x30mm rotors. The rest logan has posted.

Actually the GT-R brakes from the R33 are the same as the R34, they are brembos. Difference is R33 = black w/ white lettering, R34 = gold. Both will bolt right up in front.
The R33 and R32 non-GTR brakes (in other words, GT-S or GTST or wutever) is roughly the same as the 300ZX.
I am told by one R32 owner that the R32 GTR V-Spec got the same brakes as the R33 (he was trying to sell 'em to me), but i could not find confirmation. I believe rotor size might be different, but i could (probably am) wrong.
in any case:
1. search and find the info
2. get z32 shit which is easier and sufficient brake for nearly everyone here

Installing bolts is complicated? :hahano:
Brembo calipers require you to drill the spindle holes to 14mm (9/16"), so it's a little more work then just bolting them on.

R33/R34 GTR V-SPEC BREMBO (1/95 - ON) 324mm x 30mm
R33 GTS-T (8/93 - 7/98) = 296mm x 30mm
