hey guys,
a friend told me that nearly all coilovers for the s13 (or 14 for that matter) have twintube rears. which ones have monotube rears? inverted or not, i really don't care. i do care that the rear is twin tho.
less piston length, less oil, heats up faster.
thanks guys.

None that anyone knows of. Some have external resevoirs.

Penske, Moton, blah blah blah... WAY to expensive but worth the price.

Most OTS coils with inverted monotube front actually have non-inverted monotube rear, AFAIK. They just aren't inverted because you can't invert the rears on an S-chassis and still have the adjustment knob attached to the shock, since it would be on the bottom where it mounts to the spindle.

Monotube shocks are simpler by design, and easier to manufacture. It doesn't necessarily mean they have a better damping curve, and most monotube coilovers available for the S-chassis do not utilize the strengths of a monotube shock to the point where it offsets the poor damping.

What about Stance GR+3's? They have separate rebound and compression adjustment, if I'm not mistaken. You'd think that would be enough to get good damping.
On SPL's website it says that KTS are monotube front and rear.
Anybody know about Zeal or the Topline Aragosta Coilovers SPL sells? I believe Aragosta is made by AST.
