Any indication to what it might be?

Throwout bearing -or- gear oil is low/not the right type -or- worn pilot bushing. Common "issue" (not really a problem).
The question is, when did it start? All of a sudden, or gradual? After a clutch swap?

It happened all of a sudden. I push my car hard.
I believe you are definitely on key on any of those problems. I'm not sure about gear oil, but it could definitely be a throwout bearing.

It's usually not a huge deal, mine does it because I didn't use a high-heat enough grease when I put my tranny back in - if the noise is not speed dependent, and goes away when you push in the clutch, it's your throwout bearing. No biggie, unless your clutch starts engaging unevenly - I wouldn't even bother fixing it until you change clutches (and TOBs) eventually.

The noise actually starts when I push the clutch in. It goes away when I let it out. Is it still the throwout bearing?
Thanks for all your help, by the way.

Edit: Yeah I was actually thinking about this while I was driving today, I did write this backwards... look down at Steve's post for easy answers.

I think your mixed up?
When you push in the clutch your disengageing the Clutch from the flywheel so the pressure plate is riding on the TOB. so if its making a noise when you only push in the clutch the its your TOB.
Mine makes a slight whirling Noise when I push my clutch in Only cuz I used the TOB from my old setup.

clutch in- noise equals TO bearing
clutch out- noise equals pilot bushing
at least 90% of the time

What Steve said ^^^^. I don't think it is the TOB.. May be clutch disc related.. Or pilot bushing. Pilot bushing only sees action when the clutch pedal is pressed.
