I wanted to get a couple decals made and I need help getting these vectored (sp?) Here is the image.... All I need is the bunny. I would attempt this myself, but I have an old mac and no photoshop :(
Thanks in advance, Mark

Let me know if you need anything else.

Do you want it to just look vectored? or do you want the actual .AI file for it.

Im sure he needs the actual file otherwise it would be useless if he wanted to get it produced.

Please keeps these kinds of post in Off Topic

i saved it as .png file, so its "transparent" without the low quality of .gif files

I think that might work, I'd have to ask BoostinGST if it would. He will be using his plotter and asked me to get the image vectored. So what ever you guys think, I honestly have no idea.

i think u might need the illustrator file, like said above, .ai
its vector, so no matter how much u zoom, it wont get pixelated, unlike one i posted above, but depends on the size of the sticker u want, that may or may not work

to make a vector version of that, i think you need to redraw the whole thing

Photoshop makes raster based images, for it to be vector you need to redraw it in illustrator.

Yep

The only way to do vector images in photoshop really is to just use the pen tool and draw paths

Then export the paths to illustrator and then you can make sticker files and such

I usually do that since I'm better with the pen tool in PS than Illustrator

But with that image specifically it would be pretty hard

You'd probably have to get the sticker printed (versus plotted) to get all the shading and stuff

Or just make it simpler, and just do it sillouette style

That is the only picture I have, It is from an artist named Jeremy Fish. It is a painting, taken from his website. I asked for permission to use it, and it's cool.

A Spec: Do you think you could draw it up for me in a simpler version, but keep the concept the same?

hey PM me or put up your email and i will send you an .ai file.
I got rid of the shading but it still reads well. :) and now you can make it as big as you want haha
