S13 Pig Nose converted to a 79-83 280zx

I was on Nico a LONG time ago and seen a blue S13 Hatch with a 280zx front end on it...considering i have 2 parts car (one being a s13, one being a 82 280zx) I was trying to find this car again and see about doing this conversion....Anybody else seen it?

it was ugly. But its not a complete bolt on by far.the z fendrs are way longer than an s13 and so is the hood so its going to take alot of work for a car to look like shit.

It looks hot. No doubt about it. Only on a hatch though. Cooler then a whack S15 front end conversion. You know why? cause you don't see it. It's too fresh for mere mortals. Only Gods and The Mack can pull off such a front end conversion.

Honestly if you use old sheet metal...it's gonna turn out like crap. Unless you are a master at making shit fit and pay crazy attention to detail. The front bumper for sure would have to be replaced.

OH YES....but on my white one the bumper is differant, so it wont matter...but i do agree...and i have a boss thats CRAZY about detail (body shop)...and imho i like think this front end (zx) is better than the "z" front end

The problem is, nobody in north america knows how to make an s130 look good. There is not one good looking 280zx i've ever seen on this continent. 99.999999% are either redneck style or 80's has been spec.

As for the OP, if you're going to go through the trouble of Frankensteining a Z front end on your SX, do it right.

start with a fastback, and use a 240Z front end... and stick with a ductless front airdam, not some gay "modern" style front bumper that adulterates the style of the S30, like this one:
