I ran across this yesterday. I wanted to see if it's worth getting for $3,500 obo. If not how much? I haven't got all the details yet, just two pics. I will feel in the blanks when I get them. I.E. chassis/engine mileage, compression, extra stuff. I am mainly interested in the chassis, would probably sell SR and put another S14 KA.

Heres the post:

it's a 1997 s14 with ...

s14 sr20det w/ harness, ecu, 5 speed tranny
jdm goodies
jdm kouki rear bumper
kouki taillights (2pc.center piece n right side only)
s14 5 lug all around still good
3 s14 se wheel with toyo proxes still good tread
godspeed front mount intercooler
koyo radiator
everything else little should be there ... engine still runs it just not mobile ...

it has front end damage more then i can afford to fix ... and with it having an sr if i did repair the car i have no smog ... i took off the seats and the stereo like i said mostly everything else is there or should be ... if yer balling n fix it you'll have a great car with a soild running s14 sr ... it still runs right now n etc ... it just basically got nudged to the side a lil ... if u need help on tow i might be able to help i just need it gone and soon no time to part it out

the only good use i see out of it is a parts car...
even if i had the money i wouldnt fix it.....too much time and money....

i would buy a cheap shell with no motor and buy that car and put all the shit from it into the shell.

The pics are so small I cant tell the extent of the damage. The guy hasn't answered any of my questions yet. Just to clarify a few things. I don't expect to have this thing on the road any time soon, it would be strictly a project car, not a DD at this point. I plan on taking my time with it. If I find out the frame is tweaked or beyond repair then oh well I'll pass. I'm not in a hurry to grab another project car, but if I find a really good deal I might take it. Just asking other peoples thoughts on this car only, so please don't tell me "I got one for you", or "Ive seen way better ones you should buy"

i agree, should pick it up and buy a cleaner chassis to swap shit into, that is unless all damage is cosmetic (looks doubtful)

he's basically selling a clip, Id offer him what s14 clips go for. I sold my car you see right here for $1,400 and it had a sr with goodies

buy a shell of what you want, hatch coupe, s14 and offer the guy $2500. do the switch and you'll have a decent car.
