It obvious that there are plenty of people driving around out there with sr20det's even though they are not leagal in the states. Does anyone have any tricks on passing visual inspections?

Now seriously, if the person doesn't take this nice bill laying on the seat, couldn't he tell somebody up high in the chain and you get in trouble for this. or not??

If he doesnt take it, and you get some shit for it, just say it fell out of your pocket. Its not like they can prove you were trying to bribe him by leaving it on the seat.

I had an 89 VW Jetta that doubled all the numbers for the emissions. There was a sign saying that it was a felony to bribe, but I went for it. I asked the guy how to fix it, he said go to a shop and get a tuneup. I asked if there was any fix that I could do right now and how much it normally costs. He said $50. I felt like an ass after I paid, though, becuse with that method, you can't name your own price, he sets it
