I'm in the final stages of putting together and installing my turbo kit (KA24DE). It's a basic T3/T4 setup (740cc, walbro, fmic, tial gate, enthalpy ecu, JGS manifold, etc).
What I want to know is...does it matter how big my air filter is? My goal is 350-375rwhp.
My question is...will using 9" cone air filter (with a 3" opening) give me any noticeable increase over a "standard sized" cone filter?
Any input is appreciated.

None. at all. Maybe you won't have to clean it as often.

You're going to get SOOOOO many comments on your thread title... so this is me not making one. :keke:
On topic, I don't think it would make much difference IMO.

Haha and this is me also not making one
But yeah I also third the movement that it probably won't make much of a difference... But hey if you have the money try it and see if it makes a difference... Good luck :bigok:

this is me making one. your wife told me it mattered thats why i hear from her once a week.
now does the size of the filter matter, as long its not smaller than the factory then it shouldn't matter, it will only pull in as much air as the engine wants
