stubborn water hose

anybody know any tricks to get the L shaped coolant hose of the intake mani. the thing was dryed out when i went to put coolant in. its just started leaking. i hate those stupid band clamps. ive tried breaking the clamp off and twisting the hose off. but is not budging. do u think cutting as much off with a razor blade then try to yank the clamp off.

Quit being a bitchass, and pull on it. You dont need to make a thread on how to pull off a hose.

if ur replacing it just cut it
make a length wise slit and then yank the fuck out of it

if the clamp is still on there get it off
its a thin band of metal
get a metal saw and saw it apart or dremel it, whatever

eh... if ur having that much of an issue.. you could pick up some Hose Pliers.. pretty much Needle Nose pliers with tips that allow you to grab the hose and work it off.. come in different lengths and tips for alot of different hose sizes.
